You are not alone.

I know it may seem that everyone has their shit together.

Maybe it’s their finances, their relationship or their body but trust me, they do not.

Everyone has their own challenges and so like an onion, we peel back the layers until we get to the bottom of it.

Rest assured there are others like you dealing with something.

I spoke to a few friends tonight. Each had their own issues. Relationship problems, comfort eating, money and job issues. So not just me then.

Over the last few days, I’ve felt that I am the only one dealing with money issues. The wedding is speeding right up ( 7 months today) and mortgages need to be paid, and bills etc. You know the drill.

Oh and then you have family triggering you.

Yet again though, I am not the only one dealing with this shit and crying because I feel like a massive failure.

Yes old childhood beliefs coming right out to play.

I need to work hard for money.

Earning money is hard.

Now those childhood beliefs before were I am fat and I hate myself. Lovely.

As humans, we don’t really treat ourselves that nicely. We beat ourselves up for being overweight or lacking in the money department, or not having the partner we want.

You are not alone.

I am specialised in muscle testing so yesterday, I said enough is enough and did a muscle testing session on myself.

Well I resisted those edits like motherfuckers. I didn’t want to do them. A HUGE sign to say you need to do these now.

Aren’t you fed up of where you are Kerri? Why can’t you do the inner work?

I did the same with my body image issues. I was sick to death of feeling shit about my body. Comfort eating, restricting and dealing with health issues like burnout and adrenal fatigue.

I mean fuck that. Your health is your wealth and I am on the same vicious hamster wheel of life.

Time to get off it for good.

I grabbed the bull by the horns and did something about it.

Thank God because I wouldn’t have wrote this otherwise.

I got onto my Self -Love practices and I muscle tested to release those old childhood beliefs.

Trust me it’s not an overnight process but the results are amazing.

Here’s three tips you can do in the meantime to help love your body.

1) Become aware when you’re over eating, comfort eating or restricting yourself. Ask yourself why do you do it? Not in a telling yourself off way but a gentle “Ok, I want to find out what’s going on?” way.

2) Write down any limiting or negative beliefs you have about yourself. The more the merrier. Trust me, you want to release these immediately.

3) Don’t beat yourself up for beating yourself up. Start treating yourself like you would your best friend. What would your best friend tell you right now? Write it down.
